A Christmas message from our National Nominating Officer

Christmas stockings

Hi folks

I would like to wish all our members and supporters A Very Happy White Christmas.

While we are enjoying our festivities, can I ask that everyone takes a little time out to think about all of those who this Christmas will not be happy?

The homeless: It isn’t much fun being homeless, but at this time of year it is unbearable, just remember that not all homeless people are druggies or alcoholics, as there are other reasons; austerity, mental health issues, to name but two.

The lonely: There are thousands of people out there who are spending Christmas alone.

Christmas for the lonely

Those in hospital: Please also think about the people who have loved ones seriously ill in hospital. Christmas Day to them is very hard.

Nurses and Servicemen: Raise a glass to our nurses and our servicemen they deserve it, as they have to keep working throughout Christmas.
