A recently-published letter reveals the root of the crisis we face:

‘SIR – When I suggest in the Lords that our Muslim leaders should “re-examine” the violence in the Koran and in Mohammed’s life, I am vilified for stirring up hatred.

We won’t defeat Islamism until we understand Islam. And we won’t understand Islam if we are not allowed to talk about it.

Lord Pearson of Rannoch

Letters, Daily Telegraph (26 May 2017)

So what will shake us out of the utter folly of the Islam-appeasing mentality of our politicians? While we share the acute grief of families after the Westminster and Manchester attacks, have we learned nothing from recent atrocities in Europe and the UK?

Let us go back a decade and recall the testimony of an Egyptian Islamic academic.

Mark Gabriel was born and raised in Egypt in a fundamentalist Islamic family. By the age of twelve he had memorized the entire Qur’an. After graduating second in a class of 6,000 at Al-Azhar University in Cairo he became a professor of Islamic history at that university. He also served as the Imam of a mosque in Giza, where the pyramids are located.

Despite having become a highly-prestigious figure in the Islamic world, Mark one day dared to question the authenticity of the Qur’an. That evening he was kidnapped by the Egyptian secret police and thrown into prison where he was tortured unmercifully for days. Miraculously, just as he was about to be executed, Mark was delivered from the prison by a relative with political connections.

During the next year while unemployed and living with his parents, Mark met a Christian pharmacist who gave him a Bible. That Bible led him to Christ, and when he read the Sermon on the Mount, he decided to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. When his father discovered he had become a Christian, he tried to kill him. Mark fled to South Africa where assassins were sent to kill him. He finally fled to the United States where he was granted religious asylum.

Today Mark is a Christian evangelist. He is also spreading the truth about Islam. As Mark puts it, “The history of Islam is a river of blood.” For a detailed and comprehensive exposure of Islam, see Dr Gabriel’s books:

‘JESUS AND MUHAMMAD: Profound Differences and Surprising Similarities’ (Florida: Charisma House, 2004) and

‘ISLAM AND TERRORISM: What the Qur’an really teaches about Christianity, violence and the goals of the Islamic jihad’ (Florida: Front Line, 2002).

Along with other books published more recently by numerous authors, these publications have not made the impact they deserve. If such irrefutable information doesn’t wake us up, then what will?
